Animal classification


There are 2 main classification first it's

vertebrates          invertebrates


Vertebrates

Vertebrates is a animal with a backbone.
eg:humans, animals :Lion
Only 30% are vertebrates rest of all are invertebrates.

Invertebrates

Invertebrates don't have a backbone .
eg:reptils such as worms , snakes and snails.

Vertebrates are cut into even more smaller groups in 5.

The 5 groups are

Mammals:

Mammals have backbone to stand up-right .
They give birth to live babies.The babies feed in thier mothers milk.Mammals care thier children till they are adult.eg of mammals:humans(us),some animals such as tigre.


Reptiles

Reptiles don't have backbone.They lay eggs.Reptiles crawl.eg:Snails


Amphibians

Amphibians can both live in water and land.When they are in land they breath with thier lungs and when they are in water they breath with gills .eg:
frogs and salamander.






Birds

Birds have feathers to fly.They legs in thier nest.
They have hollow bones they are filled with air.
eg:sparrow



Fish

Fish have backbones.They lay eggs in water.They have gills to breath .It's tail helps to turn direction .
eg:Salmon



Invertebrates

There are 4 types of invertebrates they are

Insects:
Insects have 6 legs.They have three parts of body they are:head,abdoman and thorax.eg:ant
Crustaceans
Crustaceans ,most of them have antennae and gills.

Arachnids:They have 8 or more than 8.eg:spider and  scorpian.

Moluscs

Moluscs have soft bodies.eg:snail
